T4 lysis device regulated by IPTG

With this part any bacterial cell will go into cell lysis as long as they do not have enough IPTG in their cells.

With this model it can be seen that when T4 Holin reaches a critical value (number of T4 Holin molecules minus number of Antiholin molecules, reach 3000[ref]) cell lysis occurs. When the bacteria are grown on a medium containing IPTG they are able to survive however without IPTG this critical level is reached and the cells die.
